The Williams Chapel Cemetery

English Community, Red River County, Texas

The pictures were taken in March of 1994. The picture to the left is my parents, Sam Rhapherd BREEDLOVE and Alma Ellen ANDERSON BREEDLOVE, great granddaughter of Thomas Wilson ANDERSON, Sr., and wife Columbia Belle McFERRON ENGLISH ANDERSON and of Andrew Jackson WILLIAMS and wife Sarah Jane DUNNEGAN WILLIAMS.

Below is the grave of Andrew Jackson WILLIAMS and wife Sarah Jane. Under that is a detail of the two sides of the stone.

I've often retold of Columbia's grave since I first saw it in 1994. The bottom, to the right, says "Columbia, wife of T. W. Anderson, Born Sep. 12, 1812, died Nov. 27, 1891"

The top of the stone, pictured below, says, "She lived a registered member of the Baptist church from early youth."
